Meredith Plaxco is an executive advisor, revenue optimization strategist, consultant in asset protection, safety and risk, and executive coach. As Founder and Principal of Whitethorn Advisory Group, she partners with senior executives to strengthen business performance by connecting revenue growth and profit protection with customer trust, associate safety, and operational resilience.

With more than 25 years of experience, her leadership roles span operations, corporate communications, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and enterprise asset protection and safety across multiple industries, with an emphasis on managing risk and advancing business growth. She most recently served as Global Vice President of Asset Protection and Safety at PetSmart, where she led enterprise-wide work at the intersection of people, risk, and business performance.

She serves on the boards of the Loss Prevention Foundation and ONE Community Arizona, and has held national industry leadership roles, most recently as chair of RILA’s Asset Protection Leaders Council and as a founding member of the Arizona Leadership Network.

With her education in business and communication, Meredith is a guest lecturer and mentor at the University of South Carolina College of Retailing Asset Protection Program. She also holds her Loss Prevention Certification (LPC) from the Loss Prevention Foundation.
